The Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of the businesses, organizations and individuals who make a difference in our community.

We are delighted to announce the recipient of the 2023 Award of Excellence for Young Professional of the Year, Kristin Bennett.

Kristin Bennett has been with MNP as a member of the Assurance and Accounting team since 2017. Kristin started as an Accountant and was promoted to Senior Accountant in 2020 upon obtaining her CPA designation. In 2022, Kristin’s consistent efforts and dedication to the MNP team resulted in another promotion into the role of Manager.

Kristin has significant experience working with local private companies and not for profit organizations. Kristin is native to Brockville and chose to return home for her career, bringing her exemplary knowledge and professionalism that has supported the community in countless ways. She is a true representative of the professional community within Brockville and area.

Outside of the workplace, Kristin volunteers with several charitable organizations in the area. She has also been heavily involved as a board member of the Brockville Young Professionals Network since 2021 and is constantly striving to ensure the success of this organization. As an employee of MNP, Kristin provides great leadership through her mentorship of junior staff members and CPA students who are preparing to write their final exams. Kristin Bennett is compassionate and reliable to others in all areas of her life.

We look forward to celebrating the Young Professional of the Year with Kristin’s family and friends at the Awards of Excellence Gala being held on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the Brockville Memorial Centre.
