Brockville Country Club
Brockville Country Club, a historic gem that has been a cornerstone of the Brockville community since its founding in 1914. Established with John A. MacKenzie as its first President, the club initially boasted a picturesque nine-hole golf course along the shores of the St. Lawrence River. This early layout featured two holes south of King’s Highway and seven north of it. Although the original clubhouse was lost to a fire in 1937, it was promptly rebuilt and served as the club’s home until 1976.
Today, the Brockville Country Club offers a blend of historic charm and modern amenities. Its clubhouse features elegant dining spaces with panoramic views of the golf course, and The Granite Hall, available during the summer, hosts large receptions and events. The club continues to be a central hub for community activities, hosting tournaments and events like the Palliative Care, Rotary Classic, and Sherwood Park Manor tournaments. It has also welcomed provincial events such as the Junior Provincial Curling Championships and the Senior Winter Games.
